Nature: screams and whispers ΙΙ

Telloglion Foundation of Arts, a museum which belongs to the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, one of the most active and dynamic art organizations in Greece, continues for more than two decades the path drawn with boldness, innovative spirit and love by its founders, Nestor and Alikis Telloglou. With its unique and rich collections, Telloglion organizes and presents on an annual basis numerous periodical exhibitions which are hosted in the Museum’s facilities or proposed to be hosted by other cultural institutions throughout Greece and abroad.

For the period from 18/10/2023 to 10/12/2023, the exhibition on the topic of climate change is scheduled. Works from art collection of the Foundation will be presented, as well as loans from other museums and collectors, in which climate change due to thoughtless human interventions is distinguished. Particular emphasis will be placed on water and natural phenomena as a source of inspiration and challenge for the choice of subject and the creation and formulation of the visual work.

Works by Georgiadis, Kontoglou, Patsoglou, Rogotis, Sakaian, Sklavos, Tsigou, Fainou, Fotaki, etc. will be presented.

This theme, a wonderful wealth of artistic creation in the field of capturing the effects of climate change, will be presented in the proposed exhibition mainly through paintings.

We would like to emphasize that this is largely an original presentation of individual projects.
