One line, One city, One festival – 57th Dimitria Festival Visual Identity

One line. Wobbly, wavy, continuous. Movement that springs from the core. A uniting line, drawing its own trajectory, its own path; expressing mobility and freedom, fluency and flexibility.

One curved line. It springs forth from the point of creation, finds balance in dancing with color, takes shape singing with human emotions and travels through time alongside history and space.

One artistic line in which different facets and art genres coexist harmoniously.

One line. One city. One festival.

Using these ideas as a springboard, Mike Rafail – founder of “That long black cloud” – designed the visual identity of the 57^th Dimitria Festival.

“Dimitria once again, and we are preparing for the 57^th installment of the biggest and most historical cultural institution of this city. Starting on October 1^st and going through to October 20^th, artists from Greece and around the world, will meet on the numerous stages of the 57^th Dimitria Festival. Art and entertainment offered to the audience through a modern artistic viewpoint are the elements that characterize the Dimitria Festival, while the program on display covers the entire spectrum of artistic creation” said Maria Karagianni, Deputy Mayor of Culture – Tourism.
