AVLAIA THEATER“If we compare the beauty of this country with the meanness of this state, we will end up with suicide”.
“Walking” by Thomas Bernhard is a linguistically and stylistically masterful short story, full of absurdity, darkness and humor. As the narrator and a certain Oehler walk, they discuss the nature of thought, logic and existence itself, exploring the interplay between the “conditions and situations” of the world, as well as the relationship between walking and thinking, motion and stillness.
Transantlantic Group investigates the realm of complementary art in a performance guided by the principles of open performance, featuring shifting rhythms, irregular pauses and the unpredictable interaction of actors as they traverse both real and imaginary landscapes.
