Tribute to 25 years since the death of Kosmas Galileas

The tribute to the 25 years since the death of violinist and conductor Kosmas Galileas will feature works by Wagner, Beethoven, and R. Strauss, as well as a special guest, Bulgarian violinist Αlbena Danailova.

Αlbena Danailova was the first woman to serve as a concertmaster in the history of the Vienna Philharmonic, a prestigious orchestra with traditionally conservative values that had long been considered inaccessible to female musicians. In 2008, after a rigorous competition and a two-year trial period, Albena managed to break this tradition, armed with her undeniable talent and distinctive sound, which we will enjoy live in our city for the very first time.
