With 250 concerts worldwide, this post-punk industrial group carries forward the legacy of legendary German bands like DAF and Einstürzende Neubauten. Musicians like Jack White, Tricky, Sleaford Mods, APTBS and Propaganda swear by their aesthetic and the unique way they capture the “Zeitgeist” of the times. Gewalt’s music and lyrics reflect the present-day atmosphere of Berlin: a homeless, addicted woman asking a child for money on the subway while the band sings “Felicita”.
