THESSALONIKI CONCERT HALL, FRIENDS OF MUSIC HALL, BUILDING (Μ1)The French word “Frasques” means a flashy misbehavior, a mischievous joke. Originating from the Italian word frasca, meaning branch, the term is perplexing, as it also alludes to playful, meaningless nonsense. Or does it? In Frasques, a small community of men and women struggle to control situations that spiral beyond their grasp. Everyday moments become raw material for a narrative infused with adventure, lyricism, and the eternal struggle for freedom.
Frasques is an ode to freedom, a masterfully deconstructed spectacle. Its central figure is impulsive, explosive, unrepeatable—boldly disrupting the relationship between performer and audience, breaking free from linear storytelling, and playing freely with time and space to create a majestic result. His companions—fellow travelers— fight stubbornly and bravely to carve out their place in a world that is at times harsh, at times elusive.
Through their adventures, Galactik Ensemble build before our eyes a performance that speaks of solidarity and shared hope.
