The opening concert of the Megaro Youth Symphony Orchestra MOYSA for the 2024-2025 season features the internationally renowned pianist Martino Tirimo performing works by W. A. Mozart and L. v. Beethoven. The orchestra will be conducted by the American conductor Michael Palmer. Martino Tirimo, a professor at Trinity College London and famous for his focus on the next generation of artists across the globe, as well as his contributions to young musicians, will appear at the Dimitria Festival for the first time under the baton of Palmer, who has conducted memorable concerts across America, Asia and Europe, featuring soloists such as Yo Yo Ma and Josua Bell and is also the founder of the Bellingham Festival of Music and The Hamptons Festival of Music, among others.
