Event in memory of Kosmas Galileas

Kosmas Galileas (1936-2000) was a distinguished violinist and conductor from Thessaloniki, who served as principal violinist of the TSSO for multiple years, and as its artistic director from 1992 to 1994.

This year, marking 25 years since his passing, TSSO honors his memory with two major events. The first is an event open to the public which will be held in the Foyer of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, featuring talks by prominent artists who knew and closely collaborated with Kosmas Galileas, along with rare audiovisual material.
